What exactly is the VMware Master Services Competency (MSC) Partner Programme?

Ultimately, the aim of the VMware MSC programme is to drive the success of VMware end customers by making sure they get the very best return from their investments. MSCs recognise outstanding services partners for expertise in specific VMware solution areas. They are awarded to service partners whose capabilities have been validated, so that customers can be confident in the capabilities of their partner. What this means? Well, it’s really the top tier, identifying the very best support and gives the highest level of assurance that we can work with customers to achieve their goals. In its simplest form, it’s real validation of our skills and experience in supporting our Channel partners and their customers!

To date, Comms-care has 5 Master Services Competencies out of a possible 7. These are Data Centre Virtualisation; Digital Workspace; Cloud Management and Automation; Network Virtualisation and VMware Cloud Foundation.

Data Centre Virtualisation – designates expertise in delivery of VMware vSphere® environments and real-world environment solutions and services delivery. Achieving this competency validates a deep understanding of data centre virtualisation design principles and methodologies and leverages best practices that provide a scalable and reliable virtualisation platform.

Digital Workspace – designates expertise in VMware Workspace ONE and VMware Horizon environments and services delivery. Achieving this competency validates a deep technical understanding and ability to architect, design and deliver professional services projects related to desktop virtualisation, mobile device management, unified endpoint management, app identify and access management.

Cloud Management and Automation – designates expertise in delivery of VMware Cloud Management and Automation solutions and services. Achieving this competency validates deep understanding and execution of cloud management design principles and methodologies.

Network Virtualisation – designates expertise in the VMware NSX environment and services delivery. NSX delivers a unique networking model that forms the foundation of the Software Defined Data Centre (SDDC). Achieving this competency validates the ability to deploy and optimise NSX environments, as well as possession of the knowledge and skills to leverage best practices for providing scalable and reliable virtualised networks.

VMware Cloud Foundation – demonstrates expertise in designing and deploying the complete Cloud Foundation stack including SDCC Manager, computing, HCI, networking and cloud management and automation.
